Burke & Lamb, P.C. was formed in 1998 and the firm provides audit, accounting, tax and consulting services to a wide variety of clients.
Our clients are in a variety of businesses within manufacturing, service, commercial fishing, professional corporations, hospitality and retail sectors, many of which are multi-generational family operated entities.
We also serve a variety of not-for-profit organizations throughout Massachusetts. Burke & Lamb, P.C. has offices located in New Bedford and Nantucket, Massachusetts.
Peter C. Lamb, C.P.A., Partner, has over thirty-five years of public accounting experience. He is a 1985 graduate of Marquette University and member of the American Institute and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
From 1985 to 1988, he was a senior accountant with Ernst & Whinney (Providence, R.I.). From 1988 through 1995 he was a senior accountant with Rodrigues, Guckin & Tobojka, P.C., (New Bedford, MA) and a principal in that firm from 1996 to 1998.
Alan R. Riendeau, C.P.A., Partner, has over thirty-five years of public accounting experience. Alan has a B.S. in accounting from Bryant College in 1986 and an M.S.T. from Bryant College.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He worked three years for Ernst & Whinny (Providence, RI) and twelve years for Finkel, DiSanto & Co. (Providence, RI).
